Bad to the bone

When I got this "Bad to the bone" shirt from a friend. (used clothing) I think it is designed for Victor!

Angel and devil

When we have our first baby, Meiying, we feel so blessed. We do our best to spoil her. She is an angel.

When we have our second baby, Alexander, we feel very blessed. We try our best to take care of him. He is naughty and cute. He is a little trouble maker.

When we have our third baby, Victor, we feel blessed. We do our best to keep him out of trouble. He is more active and naughty. He is a big trouble maker.

Sometimes, they are angels; sometimes, they are little devil. My neighbor told me: that's why they called "kids". No matter what, they always make me feel life is beautiful.

When three of them are playing and laughing. They really bright my day and always crack me up.

When they are sleeping, I could not help to see their faces and feel blessed and fulfill joy. Now I understand why my mother always watch me when I was playing. But I am not sure I will be strong enough to see them leave the nest.

Each day, I kiss and hug them. Be a mother, it is the best job in the whole world. They give me hope and love. I think every child is an angel send to a lucky mother by God.

Swim away this summer

We spend a lot of time in the pool this summer. It's summer fun!

Sleepy

Victor does not sleep as much as his age kids should be. He can play till he is out of fuel. Last minute, he was playing or eating. Then, he fall sleep on dinner table, on floor, or on sofa. It only take him 30 seconds, then he is asleep. Look at these pictures! This little angel always make us smile!

Kiss my baby

Every day, Meiying kiss Victor, Alexander kiss Victor, and we kiss Victor. He is so cute and we could not help. I think Victor enjoy it, too.

Special seat

Victor loves to sit on sofa by his own special way. He is very independent.

victor's 1st birthday

Time fly fast! Victor celebrated his 1st birthday in last December!!!! I am very busy and was not able to post more often in the past year! Well, it never be too late to see his cute picture!

Music performance

Meiying was playing the flute in the school music band. It was an excellent activity for her.

Next year, she will continute join the music band and more performance pictures to come.

Aloha life

I remember few years ago, we took a vacation to Hawaii. We went to beach to play, visited Aloha Tower, walked at Waikiki at night, and enjoyed delicious food.

Now, we live here, but we have to do all regular living stuff - go to school, cook, work...etc. Life is not easy.

Well, on weekends, we went to beach to play, visited Aloha Tower, walked at Waikiki at night, and enjoyed delicious food.

Wait a second, do I mention we only do these things on weekends? Life is not easy? Well, no complains from us. It is Aloha life!

Summer Fun

Summer is a swimming season! For most people.

I always want to be a good swimmer.

I was born in Taiwan, a small island in the Pacific Ocean, and I thought every body lived near ocean.

I wrote about my dream to swim in California beach when I was eighteen.

I took swimming classes in college and practiced with my swimmer roommate. After she taught me many times, she told me that I do not belong in the water.

Many swimming classes and many years pass by, I still can not swim.

I lived in California for twelve years and I still can not swim.

Now, I am living in this beautiful island in Hawaii, I still can not swim.

Well, I live in all "near water" places and I still can not swim.

I am still trying and I know I will be able to swim soon. This "soon" is unknown.

So, I put my dream on my kids. It took three summer for meiying to be a swimmer. Now, I am working on Alexander and Victor.

Yes, Victor is in swimming class and he is doing great! Victor can put his head in the water and get up, then give me a smile. Victor can not sit up or crawl yet! I think what I learned is: start swimming lesson early!

Maybe after all kids can swim well, they will teach me and swim with me.

We are at Alexander and Victor's swimming class every M/W/Friday. We are at Meiying's swimming practice every Tu/Th. Well, I am busy to take kids to swimming pools every day!

It is summer fun! We love it!

Mother's day

This year, we spend the mother's day with our lovely neighbors in a cabin next to the ocean.

Well, it was very relaxed and beautiful... day and night. ;-)

Some BIG BIG sea turtles came to swim with us. Yap, they are big, but cute.

It was a sweet M-day. When I saw kids playing on the beach, their little faces, laughs, and gigglings....melted my heart and I was crying with joy.

This beautiful memory will always in my mind.

hair cut

I cut kids hair short. So far, no one complain yet. Well, we saved some money on hair cut. I think they are nice and cute. ;-)

Vacation?

There are many beach & park to play and enjoy. We never tired of the beauty of the nature.

There is a good restaurant in downtown, called "Indigo". If you come to visit Hawaii, I will take you to Indigo Restaurant. ;-)

New hair style

After many years long hair style, I would like to change my hair style and I did.

Cut my hair short, it keep me cooler in hot day.

Cut my hair short, so Victor would not pull my hair.

Cut my hair short, make myself looks younger.

Cut my hair short, change my feeling.

Cut my hair short, ...... many reasons....

But, I think the real reason is:

I am a woman and woman does not need any reason for cutting hair.

Easter

Easter

Our neighbors had a Easter & Birthday party. We ate a lots and kids had a great time. We had egg hunt in our yard for older kids and another egg hunt at Mrs. Jeane's yard for younger kids. There are about 20 - 30 kids in this party. Each family have 3-5 kids, ;-) Yes! They are our kids!!! I think we have a very productive neighborhood. Well, I think all kids have great time and many chocolate..... ;-) Happy Easter!
